MMD serves global markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont. Through a strong network of local sales teams, the company works with all major IT distributors and resellers. Its design and development centre is located in Taiwan.
About the role
We are looking for a commercially driven and operationally strong Distribution Channel Manager to manage and grow our distributor network across the Nordic region and Iceland.
In this role, you will act as the central connector between MMD, distributors, and the local market. You will ensure the smooth flow of products through the distribution channel while driving both sell-in and sell-out performance.
This position combines commercial ownership with operational coordination. You will closely monitor market dynamics, pricing, inventory levels, and competitive positioning while supporting distributors with product launches, marketing initiatives, and sales performance improvements.

Key responsibilities
Distributor management
Manage and develop relationships with distributors across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland
Act as the main commercial and operational contact for the distributor network
Drive sales performance through both sell-in and sell-out
Ensure strong collaboration and alignment with distributor sales teams
Channel operations & product flow
Monitor stock levels and product availability across distributor warehouses
Ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products through the channel
Coordinate planning activities to support demand and avoid stock imbalances
Act as the operational connector between supply chain, sales and distributors
Sales performance & market execution
Support distributors in achieving sales targets and maximizing market opportunities
Track and analyze sell-in, sell-out and inventory KPIs
Identify opportunities to accelerate sell-out through targeted actions
Ensure strong market execution and product availability
Pricing, benchmarking & competition analysis
Conduct regular local market benchmarking (monthly)
Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies and market trends
Ensure pricing alignment across distributors and markets
Translate market insights into actionable recommendations
Product launches & marketing execution
Support product introductions and go-to-market activities
Coordinate with marketing and distributors to ensure strong local activation
Ensure distributors are equipped with the right tools and product knowledge
Support campaigns and initiatives to drive sell-out
Business planning & reporting
Contribute to forecasting and channel planning
Provide regular reporting on performance and market insights
Recommend corrective actions where needed
Travel
Monthly travel across the Nordic region (typically 2–3 days per trip)
What we are looking for
Experience
5–8 years of experience in sales, distribution, or channel management
Experience working with distributors in consumer electronics, IT or similar industries
Background on either vendor or distributor side is highly preferred
Skills
Strong understanding of distribution channels and product flow
Commercial mindset with the ability to drive performance
Analytical skills with experience in pricing and market benchmarking
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple operational topics simultaneously
Technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus
Languages
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Swedish or Danish is a strong advantage
Additional Nordic languages are a plus
Working model
Flexible working setup depending on location
Possibility to work remotely, with regular travel to customers and partners
On-site presence expected when visiting key accounts and distributors
