Graphic Design Intern – Philips & AOC | Amsterdam

Full-time internship | 5–6 months | Hybrid | Amsterdam

Want to see your designs used in real campaigns?

We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join the Philips & AOC Creative Team in Amsterdam.

This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend months watching from the sidelines. You’ll work on real creative projects for two international brands, creating visuals that are used across websites, campaigns, events, social and internal communications throughout Europe.

You’ll work alongside our in-house creative and marketing teams, get plenty of hands-on experience and have space to bring your own ideas to the table.

What you’ll be working on

Your projects will vary from week to week. You’ll help us with things like:

• Designing web banners, digital campaign assets, print ads, roll-ups and promotional materials

• Adapting creative concepts for different formats, markets and channels

• Creating visuals for websites, press releases and events

• Building templates and materials for internal communications

• Cropping, resizing and reformatting online and offline assets

• Supporting video storyboards and other creative projects

• Making sure your work is organised, accurate and delivered on time

You won’t be doing everything alone. You’ll work closely with experienced designers and marketers who can give you feedback, challenge your ideas and help you develop.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need years of professional experience. You do need a good design foundation, curiosity and the confidence to actually create things.

You are:

• A Bachelor student with a background in Graphic Design or a related field

• Enrolled at a European university for the full duration of the internship

• Comfortable working on a Mac

• Confident using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

• Familiar with Figma

• Comfortable working with templates and brand guidelines

• Able to use PowerPoint, Word and Excel when needed

• Available for 5–6 months, starting as soon as possible or from February 2027

• Organised, reliable and able to manage your own work

• Someone with a strong eye for detail

• Familiar with AI tools and interested in using them as part of the creative process — without relying on them to do the thinking for you

Experience with video editing is a nice bonus, but definitely not a must.
